Clip from the great documentary “Nine Innings From Ground Zero.” Add it to your queue if you’ve never seen it in full.
And that Piazza home run… jeez. Forget the postseason in ‘99 and the Subway Series in 2000. Forget Seaver in ‘69 and Doc, Straw, Gary, and Keith in ‘86. To me, that home run is the defining moment of the New York Mets.
